I am speaking of
circles Circles people make at the table. A ring that people find around their napkins, gently placed on a round plate. Those are circles that can't be broken. The thing about FAMILY circles is that they can be broken. Like mine was. One by one, old, great, hearts break down and go to sleep. Now my family is no longer a circle. It is a small, straight line. |
