with excitement Body dripping with electric waves of energy Splash! Splash! Running aimlessly through icy water, No one can stop me now that I’ve reached for the stars, Adventurous as an ant on its journey, I am. Smiling like I won a great reward, Even if nobody knows my reason. Chest heaving, Eyes burning, Arms screaming, Legs flying, I ache all over. Eyes, Ears, Nose, Mouth, Wide open Draining in this experience That is as sweet as honey. Wondering what keeps me going, Other than a great victory, The water is whipping through my hair. I am able to do anything. |
