In front of city hall, Madison said, “Look! Look! Look! I found a ticket – a ticket for free face painting at the park.”

“Neat,” said Madison’s grandma.  “Let’s go to the park.”

When Madison gets her face painted all she wants is a simple rose on her cheek.  But soon she notices that her flower isn’t a simple flower at all.  How can she get anyone to notice what is really going on?

Look at Me! is a very colorful and funny book written by well-known author Robert Munsch.  The front cover makes you want to know what is going to happen.  The type was very easy to read and would be good for all young readers.  The illustrations are very colorful and detailed, which makes reading fun!  This book would be good for anyone aged three to ten.

Look at Me! is illustrated by Michael Martchenko, and he has illustrated over sixty books and was named Canada’s Illustrator of the Year in 2006.

I will give Look at Me! five flowery stars.
