Valerie Sherrard. Three
Million Acres of Flame |

This book is a historical fiction story about the Miramichi fire, a Canadian disaster. I would recommend this book for 11 and up, because any younger and they might be scared by the death and destruction the fire creates. Another reason is that it perfectly recounts the terrible things that happened in the Miramichi fire. Three Million Acres of Flame is a very good book. I think this because it is a truthful account yet still has a good fictional storyline. It, as I said before, perfectly recounts the horrible things that happen in a fire. And the author describes every miniscule detail. I give Three Million Acres of Flame 5 stars. RATING:
