Jane Drake & Ann Love. Alien Invaders: Species That Threaten Our World
Tundra $24.99  ISBN 978-0-88776-798-2  56 pg.

Even deadly snakes – like the carpet python, black–headed python, and death adder – die trying to eat them.

The book is about invasive species and what they are doing to destroy our environment.  Jane Drake and Ann Love are sisters who have already written other award winning books such as Cool Facts and Warm Tales, Trash Action: A Fresh Look at Garbage, and The Delicious Story of Candy.  Mark Thurman has illustrated some of their other stories.  I think this book is suitable for ages 9 and up because although it still uses pictures, it has some mildly complicated descriptions and language.

I think this is a good book because it uses very good descriptions for each separate “ALIEN INVADER”.  Another reason why someone should read this is because it has some of the more secluded invaders.  And my last reason is that the illustrations are very good and show a lot of detail.

I give Alien Invaders 5 deadly stars.
