Maybe for some
A parent is a tool;
For them to use to gain their spoils
And help their kingdom rule,
But without my folks to lead me,
I would be sure to fall;
My parents are my faithful friends
Who guide me when I call.
When in sickness they’re beside me,
To aid me through my trial;
When in health they’re cheering for me,
To go the extra mile.
God’s grace flows strongly through them
And spreads to fellow men;
It speaks of our Creator,
Whose mercies never end.
How great to have a family
When God is centered there;
Uniting hearts; He bonds as one,
Transforms with tender care.
