This story was perfect for my reading level! Most of the stories were really good, but a few were just lame, and didn't make sense! But I can sure tell you that it was the kind of book that I didn't want to put down!

It sort of took me a long time to ‘get into the book’ only because I left it in my mom's car for 2 weeks (ha ha). But the first story really got me hooked (Mr. HooHaa). Right away, I knew this was the book for me because it's creepy, hilarious, odd, and just downright expression changing! This book sometimes left me questioning things. Then there was this one story that was so stupid I just wanted to get it finished. It didn't even make sense! It kept going on and on and on about this kid watching a play about this kid who was watching this play about this kid, etc, etc, etc.

The stories in this book had lots of switches, surprises, and humour. I always had to finish the story right away! When I read these stories, my mind was always reeling with excitement, and there was always pictures in my mind that were so vivid it felt like it was happening to me! Lots of the stories left me hanging with endings like…

"Tell me what will happen if I remove this," she said. His eyes gleaming in anticipation, Izma told her. Karen shuddered. Then screamed.

That ending disappointed me.

Sophia gives Lubar’s The Curse Of The Campfire Weenies 4 stars.
