Sue Eves. The Quiet Woman and the Noisy Dog

In a quiet house in a noisy town, lived a quiet woman and a noisy dog.

In a noisy town, a quiet woman lives with her noisy dog. On the other side of town, a noisy woman lives with her quiet dog. One day, the two of them meet and their dogs play in the mud. But when the women get to their houses, they discover they have made a mistake.

I think that Sue Eves has written an enjoyable story for kids. The artwork and the varying fonts keep the story interesting. The story is easy to follow and the font is clear, so this is a good work for kids to follow along or read for themselves.  The artwork is engaging and humourous, adding to the story.

I give The Quiet Woman and the Noisy Dog four stars and would suggest it for ages five and up.
