Black Sheep
Aisling and Alexandra, Age 15, Vancouver, BC

I am black,
They are white,
It ain't fair,
It ain't right.
They beat me up,
They call me names,
They bite my tail,
It's such a shame.

I wish I was human,
That's just it!
'Cause when your a human,
You don't have a fit.
You're always nice,
You're always clean,
You get treated well,
You're never obscene.
They don't call names,
You can't bite tails,
There is no shame,
You aren't on rails.

Being a sheep stinks literally too,
I hate being a sheep,
I wish I was you.
