The main character is Aubrey. A tragic accident has happened to 11-year-old Aubrey's family-a car crash. Her father and little sister Savannah died, leaving Mama and Aubrey. Mama leaves Aubrey to live by herself for about a week. Then her Gram came and took her all the way to Vermont, leaving Virginia behind. Now Aubrey has to start over at a new school and meet new friends.

This book was really hard to put down! Some parts were really unfair, or didn't make sense, but in the end everything fell into place perfectly.
The story was a bit hard to follow for me because I've never experienced the loss of a loved one. I always saw the story in my mind, even if I think about the dumbest details like, what her house looked like, what her gram's house looked like, what she was wearing, what Bridget looked like, etc, etc, etc. The story definitely did not leave me dissatisfied; the ending couldn't be any better!

I think that readers 9 to 12 should DEFINITELY read this book because, if you have experienced the loss of a loved one and/or are going through depression, this book will help you grow as a person!

Sophia gives Love, Aubrey 5 stars.
