Ann M. Martin. Everything

Bone is a stray dog separated from his mother and sister when he was young. Henry is an eleven-year-old boy begging his parents for a dog. Charlie is a boy who has suffered a terrible loss. This is a story of these three characters, and how they will help each other in the end. Everything for a Dog was an extremely good book. Some parts were funny, and some parts were so sad I wanted to cry. The characters and landscapes are vivid. For example, when Charlie is in the woods, it’s like you’re right there beside him. Almost every moment it’s a guessing game of what will happen next, and it will make you smile; like when you know Bone is going to meet Henry. Over all, this was a great book! This was an excellent book. I give Everything for a Dog five stars and recommend it for ages 9 and up. RATING:
