It’s taught me something else, too.

And that’s that as you get older, you lose things, things you don’t necessarily want to lose. Some things as simple as…well, your baby teeth when you’re a little kid, as they make way for your adult teeth.

But as you age, you lose other, even more important things, like friends-hopefully only bad friends, who maybe weren’t as good for you as you once thought. With luck, you’ll be able to hang on to your true friends, the ones who were always there for you…even when you thought they weren’t.

Because friends like that are more precious than all the tiaras in the world.

Imagine that only a couple years ago you found out that you were the Princess of Genovia, a small European country. Now imagine that you’re also a senior in high school-your life seems just so perfect. Your senior project was a huge success, you got accepted to every college you applied for, your birthday bash is coming up, not to mention your grad, the prom, and your small country’s first ever elections. If that’s not enough, you also have a seemingly perfect Prince Charming as your boyfriend ... things couldn’t get better.

Wrong!

Your senior project is a romance novel that nobody wants to publish. All those dream colleges; you only got accepted because nobody wants to say no to a Princess. The birthday bash, prom, and grad; you can’t even look forward to any of them because your dad is losing the election. That seemingly perfect boyfriend is no match to your first love who is back in town.

Well, this is just another school year for Amelia Thermopolis.

I really enjoyed Princess Forever.  I just couldn’t put it down! Meg Cabot writes in a way that’s so intriguing. Like reading a note from your best friend, Cabot just knows how teenagers operate. Creating loveable characters, hilarious adventures, you’ll be sad when it ends. A perfect conclusion to the Princess Diaries series!

I recommend this book for ages twelve and up. There’s some mature content, and lots of kissing. I give Princess Forever five stars!
