Noodle Soup
Tori, Age 14, Logan, OH

This is a fractured fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood.

Once upon a time there was a girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She lived on a farm with her mother. One day her mother wanted her to take noodle soup to her aunt because she had the flu.

Little Red Riding Hood disliked her aunt very much cause she was mean and very ugly and scary.

Her aunt lived over the river, through the woods in a small cottage. She begged her mother to be allowed to ride the horse over instead of walking. Before Little Red left, her mother warned her to beware of the wild boar.

As she was riding along, singing to herself, she heard thundering hoof beats coming from behind her.

"It's him, it's him!" She raced to her aunt's cottage as fast as she could and slammed the door shut behind her.

Then Little Red realized she dropped the soup on her way away from the wild boar. She found her aunt lying in bed and explained what happened. "I don't like noodle soup anyway," said her aunt.

So, Little Red Riding Hood fixed her some tea and cookies.
