Stevie is the middle of three sisters. Alex is the Drama Queen, Joey is the funny one, and Stevie is the singer. The upcoming school play is going to be a musical comedy, and when Alex declares she is not going to audition, Stevie realizes she might like to audition herself. But when Alex changes her mind, things just might get crazy.

Rule of Three was an awesome book. I have always wanted a younger or older sister (all I got was a brother), but I really felt a part of this book because the characters were so believable. I absolutely love acting and I really felt connected to all the sisters, especially Alex. The storyline was excellent, and the extra stories at the end of each chapter by Joey and Alex were very unique and interesting. I always looked forward to reading them.

The Rule of Three was a hard book to put down, and the ending was very satisfying. Although Rule of Three is part of a series by Megan McDonald, you don’t need to read them in any certain order. McDonald is also the author of the Judy Moody and Stink series. This is a great read for girls, as I think any girl can relate to the characters.

Megan McDonald’s Rule of Three was a total 5 star read!
