Fall is a time when
the leaves change colour
In Fall I fall into
the soft, sweet, grass.
They will be raked up
and jumped on by kids.
The soft sweet smell
of leaves fills the air.
The crumply texture tickles you
Soon kids will go to school.
Those leaves won't be jumped on anymore.
Soon winter will come.
A time for sledding, skiing, skating.
Spring will come
when flowers bloom.
The leaves grow back!
But not golden yellow or ruby red:
they are green, plain green
like the sweet green grass.
Summer, then fall, fall, glorious fall
will start to appear. Again.
