Morning Land
Margaret, Age 12, Barrie, ON

Moss tangled in a thicket, blooms closed in a knot,
The amber twilight air is sweet, cool and damp, not ever hot,
The lake is gently stirring, whispering to the glacier rocks,
While the trees seem to rustle, tease, and talk.
An everlasting orange sunset warms my heart, for
Morning land is a replenishing start!
