Time Flies
Jessica, Age 14, Logan, OH

The flowers are growing up fast.
The birds are singing at last.
Children are laughing and playing their games.
We put their smiling faces in frames.

We hear the buzzing of the bees.
We see the swaying of the trees.
Up goes the temperature.
Big numbers on the thermometer.

Leaves are falling from the trees.
There seems to be a chilly breeze.
Colors are changing every day.
Summer is getting further away.

Snow is falling on the ground.
Children are making their snowmen round.
Winter is leaving we say goodbye.
Time flies, time flies, time flies.
