The Black Swan
Margaret, Age 12, Barrie, ON

A cherry blossom tree stood above, flamboyant with all its whimsical pink blooms. A china blue blossom, plump and flourished with ostentatious sparkles of dew stood out amongst them. It spiralled down to nestle within the black swan’s smoky plumage. They had found one another, two excluded from the social façade within nature’s community.
