To Josh, taking an extended winter holiday seems like a good idea, even if it means going to Haiti with his fatherís mission group to build a dorm for the orphanage. Just when they are settling into their new routine, the unexpected happens. An earthquake hits Haiti. With his father somewhere in Port-au-Prince, can Josh take charge when it really matter?

Eric Walters is a phenomenal author with over forty novels out. His books are usually real situations with fictional characters. If you like an exciting read, then this is a book for you.

I love this book from start to finish. He is constantly putting new twists in the story without losing the basic thread of the story. The main character, Josh, really grows up over the period of time he is in Haiti. This is a book that you would have to read in one sitting.

I would give Shaken a smashing five stars.
