Letter to a Soldier
Sean, Age 15, Ashburn, VA

February 27, 2011

Dear Sir or Madam:

My name is Sean, and I go to Bridge High School. Iím sure everybody in America appreciates your dedication to protecting our country. I feel safer at home because of the courage demonstrated by you and everybody else serving in the armed forces. Your commitment to your job keeps this country out of harmís way. I will keep you and your fellow soldiers in my prayers. I hope you can go home and see your family soon.

Being away from your family is hard, and for you to be able to do it for years at a time makes you a role model for me. I hope that the war will be over soon, so everybody who is over in Iraq can see their families. I will always remember what you did for this country.
