KIdsWWwrite is a non-profit Web anthology developed to publish young authors' work. Its aims are to:

  1. Encourage children to read and write for enjoyment.

  2. Enable children to share.

  3. Celebrate children's writing.

A new issue is published during the first week of each month.

Submission Guidelines:
 

Send your stories or poems to KIdsWWwrite if you are 16 years of age or younger.
bullet Submit up to 4 poems (not exceeding one page each) or a story of up to 1,000 words per month.
bullet Submit only stories or poems that you have written yourself!
bullet Check your spelling and make sure you used proper grammar and punctuation. We cannot use stories typed all in capital letters. We cannot use stories that don't have proper punctuation like commas, periods and quotation marks. When you share your writing with the world, be sure it is your very best!
bullet All writing must respect and observe the common courtesies towards others and language must be appropriate for all ages.
bullet Submissions must include your name, age, geographical location and e-mail address, but only your first name, age and city are published with the writing. For more information, please refer to our privacy policy.
bullet All writing remains the property of the author, but permission is granted to the Kalamalka Institute for Working Writers to publish the work in KIdsWWwrite and to retain the work for archival and promotional purposes. For more information, refer to the copyright page.
bullet Authors are not paid for the published writing.
bullet Stories and poems may be edited to fit the available space and format or to correct language use. Children's author Margriet Ruurs is the creator and editor of KIdsWWwrite; the online anthology is hosted on the server of Okanagan College.
bullet Writing should be submitted using the online form.
